Rescue
Our goal at SESTR is to do everything we can to keep owners and their pets together. We do understand circumstances arise where this is not always possible. In cases like these we can take in your beloved pet, get them vetted and into their forever home. We also work with local shelters to take in pets with medical needs and the seniors overlooked in the shelter.
Placement
In cases when do have dogs surrendered to us as well as shelter dogs, we strive to find them the best forever home possible fulfilling both the pets’ needs as well as the potential adopter. We match potential owners up with a companion that best fits their individual situation. Please trust our judgement and if you are not approved for a particular dog that in way reflects on your abilities and situation, but the dog may just not a good fit. So many of our dogs have unique needs and all our applications are reviewed on a case by case basis and not just a blanket approval process.
Financial Assistance
To provide fixed income pet owners of older companion animals with critical care services in an effort to increase pet retention and reduce the number of senior pets entering the shelter system. “Income should never come between a senior dog and their owner”.
